What is ILLiad?
Can’t find what you need after searching the Discovery Service? Request it through ILLiad:
- Articles
- Book Chapters
- Books
- Multimedia like DVDs, CDs, or other media
We will check with other libraries (Interlibrary Loan) and our collection (Document Delivery). If you are eligible, we can also mail you books from our collection through Books by Mail.

Articles & Book Chapters
Submit up to 5 requests when you cannot find an electronic article or book chapter in our collection. We will first check if we have a print copy in our journals and books (Document Delivery) and then with other libraries (Interlibrary Loan). We will email you a PDF within 24-48 business hours.
Books and media from other Libraries
If you need a print book we do not have in our collection, we will check with other libraries (Interlibrary Loan). When we receive your item(s), we will email you that it is ready for pickup at the Library Services desk.
Things you should know:
- All digital materials will be accessible for 30 days. Save the PDF if you need it for a longer time.
- Pick up physical materials within 10 days. After 10 days, we will return it to the owning library.
- Late returns for physical items is $1/day.
On-Campus Lebanon Students, Faculty, and Staff
Articles & Book Chapters
Submit up to 5 requests when you cannot find an electronic article or book chapters in our collection. We will first check if we have a print copy in our journals and books (Document Delivery) and then with other libraries (Interlibrary Loan). We will email you a PDF within 24-48 business hours.
Books from the Library Collection (Books by Mail)
The Books by Mail service lets you request up to 2 books from the library collection in Pomona. The Lebanon Bookstore will receive the books and let you know when it is ready for pick up. When you are ready to return the books, drop them off at the bookstore. They will mail it back to Pomona on your behalf for free.
Things you should know:
- All digital materials will be accessible for 30 days. Save the PDF if you need it for a longer time.
- Pick up books within 10 days. After 10 days, the bookstore will return it to Pomona.
Off-Campus – Students on Rotations and Distance Education Programs
Articles & Book Chapters
Submit up to 5 requests when you cannot find an electronic article or book chapter in our collection. We will first check if we have a print copy in our journals and books (Document Delivery) and then with other libraries (Interlibrary Loan). We will email you a PDF within 24-48 business hours.
Books from the Library Collection (Books by Mail)
The Books by Mail service lets you request up to 2 books from the library collection in Pomona. We will mail it to your preferred address for free, but you will need to pay return shipping.
Things you should know:
- All digital materials will be accessible for 30 days. Save the PDF if you need it for a longer time.
- 6-week loan period and one renewal (maximum 12 weeks) permitting there are no holds on the books.
Alumni, Adjunct Faculty, and Clinical Faculty

Submit up to 5 requests (electronic article or book chapter). We will check if we have a print copy in our journals and books (Document Delivery) and then with other libraries (Interlibrary Loan). We will email you a PDF within 24-48 business hours.
Things you should know:
- The first (25) requests are free every academic year (Aug 1 – July 31). Subsequent requests are $10 each.
- All digital materials will be accessible for 30 days. Save the PDF if you need it for a longer time.
